Israeli Foreign Ministry Reports 45 Cases of Anti-Semitic Incidents Against Israelis Abroad in Past Year
Between July 2025 and July 2026, the Israeli Foreign Ministry's department for Israelis in distress received 45 reports of Israelis harmed by anti-Semitic incidents abroad. This marks a significant rise compared to previous years, reflecting a new reality faced by Israelis worldwide since the outbreak of war. The incidents include physical assaults, fights, spitting, verbal abuse, denial of service, eviction from hotels, cafes, and restaurants, as well as threats. Eli Yifrah, Deputy Director for Consular Affairs at the Foreign Ministry, noted that "in the past year, we have witnessed a phenomenon on a scale we had not seen before."
