Adding to the mystery are unusual radio signals detected by the ANITA experiment, which uses high-altitude balloons to capture radio pulses from cosmic particles interacting with the atmosphere above Antarctica. Some have interpreted these anomalous signals as "voices" from beneath the ice, possibly linked to the imprisoned angels.
