Spokesman for Israeli MK Tzvi Sukkot Moves Family to Isolated West Bank Farm
Yossi Reiner, the Haredi spokesman for Israeli Member of Knesset Tzvi Sukkot, announced that he and his family will leave their home in Beit Shemesh to live on a remote farm near a hostile Palestinian village in the Jordan Valley. Reiner said this will be only the second family to reside on the farm. The decision came after months of reflection and discussions, motivated by a desire to actively participate in settlement and land protection efforts.
Reiner expressed a lifelong aspiration to contribute to Zionism and settlement, stating that he wanted to move beyond just talking about these ideals to actually living them. The move will require significant sacrifices, including leaving their community, family, and friends in Beit Shemesh, his wife potentially finding new employment, and securing new schooling for their four-year-old son. Ahead of the move, the couple obtained firearm licenses.
Acknowledging the challenges ahead, Reiner said the journey will involve fear, hardship, and longing, but their hearts are resolute. He emphasized that values are not just lessons but choices and sacrifices one is willing to make. He described their relocation as a family, Zionist, and value-driven mission, marking the start of a new chapter without knowing exactly what lies ahead.
