AIPAC Cuts Donations to Democrats Supporting US Aid Suspension to Israel

The pro-Israel lobbying group AIPAC has completely halted donations to 18 Democratic lawmakers who voted in favor of a bill to suspend American aid to Israel. This decision follows a recent House of Representatives vote on an amendment aimed at canceling the annual $3.3 billion aid package to Israel. Although the amendment was overwhelmingly rejected, it received support from 103 Democrats and one Republican, Thomas Massie, who introduced the bill. In response, AIPAC removed these lawmakers' names from its fundraising portal and withdrew public recognition of their "continued support for US-Israel relations." This move signals AIPAC's firm stance against any congressional efforts to reduce financial assistance to Israel and highlights the political consequences for legislators opposing the aid.
