Israeli Actress Adi Himmelbleu Opens Up About Childhood, Divorce, and Romance with Younger Partner

Adi Himmelbleu, a well-known Israeli actress and model, spoke candidly in a recent interview with "Ulpan Shishi" about her challenging childhood, personal struggles, and recent romantic life. Despite being celebrated as one of Israel's most attractive and sought-after women, Himmelbleu revealed she grew up feeling unwanted and rejected, particularly due to her absent father who struggled with presence and ultimately passed away from cancer without closure between them.

Himmelbleu, now 41, shared how her difficult upbringing fueled her drive to prove her worth independently. She is a mother to two sons, Leo (11) and Bri (6.5), and discussed the impact of her parents' divorce and her own recent separation from her husband, Nadav, whom she married in 2014 after a long friendship. The couple divorced following the traumatic events of October 7, 2023, which Himmelbleu said intensified personal and national anxieties, leading to their breakup. Despite the separation, they maintain a close friendship for the sake of their children.

The actress also addressed public scrutiny over her romantic relationship with singer Ben Zini, who is 12 years her junior. She acknowledged the societal double standards regarding age gaps in relationships and expressed frustration over intrusive media coverage affecting her family. Himmelbleu emphasized her belief in living authentically and encouraged women to pursue what makes them happy without societal judgment.

Professionally, Himmelbleu reflected on her early career struggles, including numerous rejections before her breakthrough role in the youth series "HaShminiya" over 20 years ago. She currently stars in the theater comedy "Modern Love" and balances her career with motherhood. Regarding her children’s reaction to her modeling lingerie campaigns, she said they accept it as normal since it is part of their reality.

Looking ahead, Himmelbleu is embracing her solo life after years of partnership, rediscovering herself and enjoying newfound independence. She is currently dating nightlife figure Ziv Shaya, aged 50, and continues to focus on her personal growth and career.
