Veteran Center Amin Stevens Joins Israeli National League Team Nahariya

Amin Stevens, the 35-year-old dominant center known for his performances in the Israeli Premier League, has signed with Ironi Nahariya, a team in the Israeli National League. This move marks a surprising step down from the top-tier league, as Stevens aims to help Nahariya secure promotion to the Premier League following their recent disappointment in last season's finals.

Stevens was named to the Premier League All-League First Team in the 2023/2024 season while playing for Ironi Kiryat Ata, where he spent three years after joining in 2021. In the 2024/2025 season, he played for Maccabi Ramat Gan, and last season he stood out with Maccabi Rishon LeZion.

During the regular season with Rishon LeZion, Stevens averaged impressive statistics, including 14.4 points per game with a 52% field goal percentage, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. Nahariya announced his signing on Friday, signaling their intent to leverage his experience to return to the Premier League.
