Jerusalem Developers Seek Rabbinical Guidance for Romema Green Project

In recent weeks, developers of the Romema Green project in Jerusalem have reached out to local rabbis and religious judges to ensure the project aligns with Torah principles. Due to the project's complexity and the need to resolve various issues, the developers requested rabbinical supervision and guidance, particularly on halachic and community matters. A special committee was established to address halachic and public questions from residents and nearby institutions. The committee includes Rabbi Naftali Kopshitz, head of the Romema neighborhood rabbinical court and leader of the Beit Midrash Elyon yeshiva; Rabbi Yaakov Avraham Cohen, rabbi of the Ramat HaTzafon neighborhood and dayan in the court of Rabbi Nissim Karelitz; and Rabbi Naftali Offman, a halachic advisor from the Belz Hasidic community and representative of the Belz Rebbe for Romema affairs. The formation of this committee and the commitment to Torah guidance have been positively received by Romema residents, who view it as a guarantee for the project's success while respecting the needs and sanctity of the Haredi community in the neighborhood.
