Iran Warns US Against Interference in Strait of Hormuz, Threatens Regional Infrastructure

Amid escalating US strikes on Iranian targets, Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, the country's emergency command, responded sharply to President Donald Trump's threats of intensified attacks including damage to civilian infrastructure. The Iranian military warned that any such US actions would provoke devastating retaliation, stating that all infrastructure in the region would be destroyed by powerful Iranian forces. A spokesperson emphasized that Tehran considers US interference in the Strait of Hormuz a red line and vowed that Iran's security forces would deliver a far more severe and extensive blow than before.

Earlier, Iran announced drone attacks on US bases and facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain, targeting radar systems, Patriot air defense, and fuel storage at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait and Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain. Concurrently, Jordan reported intercepting eight Iranian missiles, while the US Central Command disabled an unladen oil tanker attempting to breach the US blockade near an Iranian port, after multiple warnings were ignored.

Iran's Revolutionary Guards reiterated that reopening the Strait of Hormuz depends on the cessation of US aggression in the region and firmly rejected any foreign interference. They warned that if Trump's threats are carried out, the remaining intact infrastructure across the area would be destroyed, underscoring the seriousness of Iran's stance against US military actions.
