Canva Launches AI-Powered Tool to Build Websites and Apps Without Coding
Canva has introduced Canva Code 2.0, a new artificial intelligence-based platform designed to enable users to create interactive websites and applications without any coding knowledge. The tool simplifies the development process by integrating with Canva's familiar design interface, allowing users to build digital experiences as easily as designing a presentation.
The platform features "Vibe Coding," which lets users start projects using simple text prompts, select from over 50 new design templates, or import existing HTML code generated by other AI tools for further editing. Users can drag and drop images from Canva’s built-in library, adjust colors and fonts, add text with a click, and request specific changes through an AI chat assistant.
Once the project is complete, users can publish their site or app either on a custom domain or for free under a Canva domain. The output is automatically optimized for different screen sizes, with a mobile preview available before going live. Canva’s new tool aims to democratize web and app development, removing the need for professional developers and making digital presence creation accessible to anyone with creativity and brand understanding.
