Boeing Debuts Advanced MQ-28 Ghost Bat Drone at Farnborough 2026 Airshow

The Farnborough International Airshow 2026 opened this week in England, with Boeing showcasing its latest military innovation, the MQ-28 Ghost Bat, an advanced unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Developed by Boeing Defence Australia, the Ghost Bat is designed as an autonomous platform to operate alongside manned fighter jets such as the F-35 and F-15EX. It can perform a variety of missions including intelligence gathering, electronic warfare, and strike support. The drone recently participated in the international Valiant Shield 2026 exercise in the Pacific Ocean, marking a significant milestone for autonomous combat systems.
