US Imposes Full Naval Blockade on Iran Through Strait of Hormuz Starting Tomorrow

The United States announced a full naval blockade on Iran via the Strait of Hormuz, effective tomorrow at 8:00 PM local time (11:00 PM Israel time). The Joint Maritime Information Center, led by the US Navy, declared that the blockade will apply to all vessel movements regardless of their flag. The US military will enforce the blockade on all Iranian ports and coastal areas, including but not limited to oil terminals along the entire Iranian coastline.

The announcement clarified that the blockade will not prevent free and neutral passage through the Strait of Hormuz to or from non-Iranian destinations. Earlier, President Donald Trump officially informed Congress that "the fighting has resumed," referring to renewed tensions and clashes in the region.

In a phone interview with Fox News, Trump addressed the escalating conflict and Iran's attempts to assert control over the strategic waterway. He asserted that the situation remains fully under American control, stating, "We are taking control of the strait. They have nothing, they have nothing." Trump dismissed concerns about increased Iranian activity, emphasizing that Iran currently lacks the capability to influence events in international waters around the strait.
