Netanyahu Says Alien Life Likely Exists but Doubts UFO Visits to Earth

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared on the podcast "The Mojo of Ben Ben Baruch" for over an hour, discussing a wide range of topics including the October 7 attack, Israeli politics, elections, the ongoing war, and personal matters such as the memory of his late brother Yoni Netanyahu. Among these discussions, Netanyahu was asked about the existence of UFOs and extraterrestrial life, especially in light of recent reports and anticipated disclosures from the U.S. government in 2026.

Netanyahu responded that he does not possess any special classified information on the subject, stating with a smile, "I know many secrets, but this secret I do not have." He said he has not seen any evidence and is unaware of what the Americans might know. However, he shared his personal perspective based on his interest in physics and astronomy, explaining that given the vastness of the universe with billions of galaxies and planets, it is reasonable to believe that intelligent life exists elsewhere.

He clarified that he does not necessarily mean human-level intelligence but considers the existence of life beyond Earth plausible. Netanyahu distinguished this from the claim that extraterrestrials have visited Earth, which he finds highly unlikely due to the physical constraints of the speed of light and the immense distances and times involved. He concluded that while one can believe in extraterrestrial life, the possibility that they have come here is "quite negligible."
