Smotrich Reveals US Envoy Witkoff's Promise Against Allowing 'Two Million Nazis' Near Israeli Borders

At the Decision Conference on Thursday, Israeli Minister Bezalel Smotrich disclosed a conversation he had with US President Joe Biden's Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, shortly after Witkoff's appointment. The meeting took place alongside Minister Ron Dermer, a day after Witkoff visited the Gaza border area and viewed footage of the horrific attacks from October 7. Smotrich recounted that Witkoff was deeply disturbed by the images and told him, "Bezalel, I will not allow two million Nazis to live near your children on the fences."

Smotrich further addressed Israel's security policy regarding Gaza and Lebanon, emphasizing that the only thing that truly hurts the enemy is land. He warned that anyone who challenges Israel will lose territory permanently. He also called for establishing a long-term security zone along the Lebanon border to ensure lasting protection.
