The event featured an engaging dialogue between the rabbis and Clalit medical experts, providing comprehensive information about professional procedures before childbirth. The conference was initiated in collaboration with local Halachic decisors who often face complex questions regarding medical tests.
The event aimed to deepen cooperation between Clalit specialists and the rabbis by making relevant professional medical knowledge accessible to them. Rabbi Avraham Weiss, director of Clalit’s Haredi sector in the Central District, opened the conference emphasizing the importance of the relationship between rabbis and doctors. Following him, Dr. Yuval Gielchinsky, an expert in fetal surgery and head of the fetal medicine department at Beilinson Medical Center, presented a unique lecture featuring rare documentation and explanations about groundbreaking innovations in fetal surgery.
The conference concluded with a Q&A session where rabbis raised questions that were extensively addressed by the doctors.
