IDF Reservists at Nahal Oz Complain of Severe Shortages and Overwork After Gaza Operations

Reservists stationed at the Nahal Oz outpost have raised urgent concerns about critical shortages in manpower, food, and equipment. Following recent operations in Gaza, these soldiers report being assigned additional duties such as kitchen shifts and guard rotations, which they say is exhausting their capacity. One reservist described how after returning to the base, they were ordered to perform kitchen and security tasks, leading to extreme fatigue among the troops.

The situation escalated when the base's dining hall was threatened with closure due to the lack of kitchen staff, which would have left soldiers without dinner. Only after intervention by commanders was the dining hall reopened for a limited hour. These complaints highlight the strain on reservists at Nahal Oz amid ongoing military activities.

The IDF spokesperson has not yet responded to these allegations. The issue comes amid heightened tensions and military operations in the Gaza Strip following the events of October 7.
