Jerry Seinfeld Responds to “Free Palestine” Protester: “It Doesn’t Exist”

A content creator approached the Jewish-American actor and comedian outside a Knicks game in New York and asked him to say “Free Palestine.” Seinfeld replied, “It doesn’t exist.”

The Jewish-American actor and comedian Jerry Seinfeld confronted content creator finessefave outside a basketball game between the Knicks and San Antonio. In a video shared on social media, the creator filmed himself approaching Seinfeld and asking, “Seinfeld, can you say ‘Free Palestine’?” In response, Seinfeld gave a brief chuckle and answered, “It doesn’t exist.”

Since October 7, 2023, the outbreak of the war and the sharp rise in antisemitic incidents around the world, Seinfeld has faced repeated harassment and attacks from pro-Palestinian activists because of his support for Israel, including a solidarity visit to the country during the war. In November 2024, a small group of activists surrounded the comedian on the street and shouted, “Jerry, Jerry, stop supporting genocide, stop supporting Israel.”

A similar incident was also recorded during one of Seinfeld’s stand-up performances in Virginia, when a person in the audience disrupted the show and shouted, “Free Gaza.” After security removed the heckler from the hall, Seinfeld addressed the incident from the stage and said, “Nothing like a little Jew hatred for the atmosphere.”

The current incident in New York is the first time the actor has responded directly and verbally to an attempted street provocation of this kind.
