Evyatar Dangur Opens Up About 'Married at First Sight' Experience and Relationship Status
Evyatar Dangur, a star of the current season of the Israeli reality show "Married at First Sight," spoke candidly at a recent launch event about his experience since the show aired. Ahead of the upcoming weekend episode on Keshet 12, he described the public attention as a positive and exciting experience, saying, "It’s cool, exciting, fun, like being part of something big."
Dangur addressed the controversial "typecast" discussion that arose during the honeymoon phase, which sparked social media debate. He downplayed the situation, stating, "The word crisis is too strong for what happened." He admitted being surprised by Noy's comment, especially due to its timing and the subsequent difficult conversation about his parents. Dangur revealed that the production team initially brought up the topic during a test, which led to the exchange with Noy.
On the concept of "typecast" in matchmaking, Dangur expressed a firm opinion, calling it "ridiculous and irrelevant." He emphasized that if someone seeks a superficial match based on fixed criteria, they should use other platforms like Tinder. He praised Noy’s beauty from the start, affirming his genuine intention to get to know her as a person.
Reflecting on the emotional complexity of their wedding day, Dangur shared the challenge of being without his parents, describing it as a significant and emotional moment that took time to recover from. However, he noted that the rest of the wedding was joyful and enjoyable.
Regarding authenticity on camera, Dangur acknowledged the difficulty of filming with a crew so close but believes he managed to be himself about 90% of the time. He was surprised by how genuine he appeared when watching the footage.
When asked about his current relationship with Noy, Dangur declined to answer, citing contractual obligations, leaving fans uncertain about their status as the season continues.
