Two Players Matched All Six Lotto Numbers and Missed Out on NIS 80 Million

Lotto drawing No. 3932, held yesterday (Thursday), ended without a winner of the first prize, but two participants came very close to the big win. The numbers drawn were 4, 8, 18, 21, 28 and 36, and the strong number was 2.

To win the first prize, players had to match all six numbers along with the strong number, but the two second-prize winners matched the six numbers only. That means each was just one strong number away from the top prize, which in Double Lotto stood at up to NIS 80 million. Instead of the jackpot, they moved up to the second prize category, which awarded them NIS 500,000.

The draw once again highlights the dramatic gap created by the strong number, matching all six main numbers is still not enough for the first prize, and the difference between a very large win and a second prize comes down to one additional number.
