Singer Ben El Tavori Reveals Suicidal Thoughts Amid Personal Crisis

Israeli singer Ben El Tavori, currently participating in the new season of the reality show "Connected" on HOT, opened up in an interview with Iris Kol on 103fm about a dark period in his life. He reflected on a scandal involving leaked recordings in which he was heard yelling and cursing at his ex-partner Ortal Amar. Tavori described the intense public backlash he faced, saying, "I was alone at home and thought no one would forgive me, even though I hadn’t really done anything wrong." He called the incident a moment of anger between partners that was blown out of proportion, and admitted, "I thought it was the end."

This crisis led him to contemplate ending his life. "I just wanted not to be here, I wanted to jump out the window. I wanted to go to the U.S. but thought they probably heard about it there too. I wanted to fly away, to disappear," he revealed. Tavori credited his recovery to the support of those around him, saying, "It wasn’t even me who started climbing out of that hole, but the people around me who truly cared and came to help me."

Recently, Tavori released a new song titled "Running Away at Night." He also shared that he has been in a relationship for nearly a year with a woman named Adi, whom he described as "truly my person" and "amazing." Regarding his participation in "Connected," where his life is documented, he said he entered the show confidently, feeling he had nothing to hide. "I was a bit worried, but I really didn’t do anything wrong. They said everything about me, so what else can they say? What could possibly happen?"
