Wounded IDF Veterans Launch Real Estate Club to Support Economic Futures
Eliran Katsh and Shaked Rozenberg, both wounded Israeli Defense Forces veterans, have established the IDF Wounded Veterans Real Estate and Finance Club to help injured soldiers build financial stability and economic futures. Katsh lost sight in his left eye during an operation in Nablus and later earned a degree in economics and management, gaining over a decade of experience in finance and real estate. Rozenberg was injured during Operation Protective Edge in 2014 and has since balanced reserve duties with building a career and family.
The club offers wounded veterans practical knowledge and tools for purchasing homes, investing, and financial planning, alongside professional guidance from a network of mortgage advisors, lawyers, accountants, insurance agents, and real estate experts, many of whom are also wounded veterans. Over the past year, the club has grown into an active community hosting webinars, lectures, and professional tours, continuing its activities even during times of conflict to provide ongoing economic support.
Beyond community support, the founders advocate for improved housing policies recognizing that rehabilitation extends beyond medical and psychological care to include economic empowerment. They emphasize the importance of choice in shaping life after injury and seek to ensure no wounded veteran feels isolated, providing them with resources to secure a stable and prosperous future.
