Blue and White Leader Gantz Rejects Any 61-Mandate Coalition Dealings

Blue and White party chairman Benny Gantz opened a faction meeting by firmly opposing narrow coalition governments, calling them dangerous and divisive. He warned that such governments would deepen societal rifts, weaken the state, and lead to future disasters. Gantz emphasized that he and his colleagues would not become satellites to any political bloc, asserting their intent to remain the central authority in governance and oversight. He explicitly rejected conceding a 61-seat majority to any side, including Netanyahu with ultra-Orthodox and extremist factions, or to Gadi, Bennett, Lapid, and Lieberman allied with Arab parties. Gantz also announced plans to pass a military conscription law even before the new government is sworn in.
