Iranians Stone Trump Image and Call for Revenge at Khamenei Funeral in Tehran

The funeral procession for Iran's former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei took place in Tehran on Monday, turning into a defiant display against the West. Among the participants was former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, appearing days after reports suggested Israel and the United States considered installing him as head of Tehran's government during the ongoing conflict. The funeral also served as a platform for Iran's military officials to send combative messages despite ongoing diplomatic talks. Iranian Army spokesperson Mohammad Akhromi Nejad stated that Iran is "fully prepared" and admitted the recent ceasefire was used to enhance military capabilities.
