Alona Sa'ar Criticizes Israeli Government Despite Her Father Gideon Sa'ar's Role

Alona Sa'ar, an actress known for her roles including in the series "The Commander," and daughter of Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, openly criticized the current Israeli government. In an Instagram story posted on Sunday, she condemned the government's announcement that it would not comply with a Supreme Court ruling regarding the Second Authority for Television and Radio. She stated that while such government behavior seemed shocking in the past, the current administration has laid its foundation on lies and conspiracies, making such announcements less surprising. She called the situation embarrassing and a disgrace for the country.

Alona Sa'ar recently married musician Yotam Rabinow in a ceremony held at "Beit HaSimchot" in Tel Aviv. The wedding was attended by family and friends, but notably, none of her father's political colleagues were invited. In an interview with Walla Celebs, she explained that the decision was mutual, as neither she, her father, nor the politicians would want to be in such a situation, preferring to avoid any discomfort.
