Chef Moshik Roth to Leave Israeli Cooking Show After 12 Years, Yonatan Roshfeld Expected to Replace Him

Channel 13 has decided to part ways with Chef Moshik Roth after 12 years on the cooking competition show "Chef Games." Roth, a prominent Israeli chef and the first in Israel to receive a Michelin star, has been a key figure since the show's inception. The channel plans to bring in Yonatan Roshfeld as his replacement. Roshfeld is well known for his previous role on the rival show "Master Chef," from which he was replaced by Israel Aharoni due to what insiders described as a "strained relationship on set." The decision to replace Roth was reportedly influenced by Asaf Rappaport, part of the group that acquired the channel. Chef Asaf Granit opposed the move, but his objections were overruled. The show is undergoing significant changes ahead of its new season, which will begin filming soon. This follows the departure of Chef Yossi Shitrit to "Master Chef" and the recent addition of Chef Guy Gamzo to the "Chef Games" panel.
