Israeli Government Approves Limited Wording on Canceling Tax Offset for Unofficial Religious Institutions

The Israeli government approved a limited version of a proposal concerning the cancellation of tax offsets for unofficial recognized institutions, many of which are ultra-Orthodox organizations. This decision came after legal difficulties emerged regarding the full cancellation of these offsets. A complementary version of the proposal is expected to be presented for approval next week.
