Israeli Leaders Lay Cornerstone for Atarot Heritage Center Marking 50 Years Since Entebbe Operation

On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu, and Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion participated in the cornerstone laying ceremony for the Atarot Heritage Center. The center will be established in the historic building of the original Atarot Airport as part of the 50th anniversary commemorations of Operation Entebbe. According to the Heritage Ministry, the center will focus on the history of Israeli aviation and the development of settlement in the area, incorporating the historical narrative of Atarot Airport itself.
