According to Badoo, nearly half of men (46%) preferred women whose height ranges between 1.60 and 1.68 meters, suggesting a middle ground height is more commonly favored. Contrary to popular stereotypes, women with brown eyes received about 60% of male preferences over other eye colors, possibly due to the warmth and presence conveyed by their gaze rather than the color itself.

Hair color also defies clichés; women with brown hair received 40% of messages compared to only 15% for blondes. This challenges traditional beauty stereotypes and aligns with other studies emphasizing the importance of hair in first impressions. Regarding body type, women described as having an "average" build attracted more attention than those with athletic builds, highlighting a divergence between social media ideals and actual preferences.

Additional subtle but significant traits include well-groomed, clean nails, which signal attention to detail and confidence, and a genuine smile. Prior research by Match Group found that 60% of men and 71% of women consider a smile important in potential partners, as it conveys approachability and positivity.
