Recent Home Sales Highlight Varied Prices Across Israeli Cities Including Pastoral Villa Near Sea of Galilee
The Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics recently reported a 0.3% drop in housing prices during March-April 2024 compared to the previous two months, marking a 1.3% annual decline. To illustrate current market conditions, national real estate agencies provided data on second-hand property transactions from the past week across several cities.
In Beersheba, prices ranged from 660,000 shekels for a 56-square-meter three-room apartment to 2.02 million shekels for a five-room garden apartment with an 85-square-meter garden. Ashdod saw a four-room apartment sold for 2.06 million shekels and a six-room duplex for 2.95 million shekels. In Rehovot, three-room apartments sold between 1.5 million and 2.2 million shekels, while larger properties, including a five-room apartment and a penthouse, reached up to 5.9 million shekels.
Lod and Ramla recorded sales of three-room apartments at approximately 1.23 million and 1.27 million shekels respectively. In Tiberias, a three-room ground-floor apartment with two balconies sold for 800,000 shekels. Notably, in the pastoral settlement of Had Nes near the Sea of Galilee, a five-room villa on a one-dunam plot with parking and a safe room sold for 2.8 million shekels.
These transactions reflect a diverse housing market across Israel, with prices varying significantly by city, property size, and amenities. The data was compiled with contributions from RE/MAX and Diyur Plus agencies.
