Russia Reports Large Ukrainian Drone Attack on Saint Petersburg and Nearby Leningrad Region

Alexander Beglov, the governor of Saint Petersburg, announced that the city was subjected to a "large drone attack" by Ukraine. Local media reported a fire broke out at an oil facility in the city, though Beglov did not specify the exact targets of the strikes. Concurrently, Alexander Drozdenko, governor of the Leningrad region where Saint Petersburg is located, stated that drones also hit the port of Vysotsk, approximately 170 kilometers northwest of the city on the Gulf of Finland. Drozdenko added that 72 drones were intercepted in the region during the attack.
