Protesters Block Ayalon Highway Demanding State Inquiry Into War Failures

Dozens of protesters have blocked the northbound lanes of the Ayalon Highway in central Israel, calling for the immediate establishment of a state commission of inquiry into recent war events. The demonstration, which took place on the thousandth day since the outbreak of hostilities, also expressed strong opposition to what the protesters described as government negligence. The blockade involved protesters physically occupying the road and using vehicles to halt traffic for several minutes, causing significant congestion in the area.

Protesters carried signs condemning the leadership, with slogans such as "1,000 days of war, 1,000 days of failure," and labeled the situation a moral, leadership, and strategic failure.
