President Herzog Hosts Families of Kfar Karm Salem Massacre Victims on 1,000-Day Commemoration

Israeli President Isaac Herzog and his wife Michal hosted survivors and bereaved families from the Kfar Karm Salem massacre at the President's Residence. Marking 1,000 days since the October 7 attack, Herzog emphasized that the enemy made no distinction among Israelis and aimed to annihilate them all. He stated that the true victory lies in rebuilding, rehabilitation, and returning to the kibbutzim.

David Habaz, the oldest farmer in the kibbutz, highlighted the importance of returning to the community despite ongoing fears about the situation beyond the border fence. Amit and Sharon Caspi, who returned to the kibbutz with their children, expressed their determination to continue rebuilding despite the immense pain. They described the 1,000-day milestone as a moment in time, affirming that their victory will be measured by growth and holding onto hope.
