Israeli Combat Camerawoman Recalls Injury From Explosive Drone Attack

An Israeli female soldier who also serves as a combat camerawoman recounted the terrifying moments when she was injured by an explosive drone. In an interview with Roee Sharon on Kan News, she described how the drone attack unfolded during an operation. "We were near the end of the attack when a drone appeared. We fired at it. We saw it approaching, then the company commander shouted 'drone, drone.' Seconds later, it exploded near us," she said.

She explained that after the explosion, she fell to the ground and immediately thought she was wounded. Her next thought was to activate her body camera to document everything. The full interview is scheduled to air on Thursday evening on Kan News.
