Green Lantern Fund Acquires 49% of Biscotti Bakery Chain in Half-Billion Shekel Deal
The Israeli Competition Authority has approved the sale of half of Biscotti's shares to the Green Lantern investment fund. According to reports, the transaction is expected to be finalized in the coming days. The fund, led by Richie Hunter, Shani Ben Ra'i, and Yosef Alyash, is acquiring 49% of the shares in the bakery company that supplies pastries to confectioneries and restaurants. For Amir Porat, the founder of the chain, this marks a significant exit, netting him approximately 250 million shekels for his shares. Despite the sale, Porat will continue to manage the company.
