Political Analyst Warns Israel Will Shake Within 48 Hours Over Iran Attack Leak Investigation
Political commentator Yaakov Bardugo revealed a deep panic within Israel's media and legal leadership regarding the leak of an Israeli strike on Iran. Speaking on Galei Yisrael radio, Bardugo accused senior investigators in the Shin Bet security service of refusing to open an official investigation due to unprecedented fear of what the inquiry might uncover. He sharply criticized Channel 12 and its correspondent for attempting to delegitimize Shin Bet chief David Zini amid the controversy, describing recent media reports as a smokescreen distracting from the core issue.
Bardugo warned that an aggressive investigation would trigger a major public and institutional upheaval within 48 hours. He urged David Zini to take immediate and drastic command measures, including firing the head of investigations and the legal advisor who are allegedly blocking the truth from emerging. The analyst's comments come amid coalition concerns that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could be replaced before upcoming elections due to the fallout from the affair.
