Yinon Magal Regrets Not Questioning Netanyahu About Gantz During Interview

Yinon Magal, host of The Patriots, expressed regret over his recent interview with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying he wished he had asked Netanyahu about Benny Gantz. Speaking on 103fm radio on Wednesday, Magal said he wanted Netanyahu to confront Gantz directly. He added that if anyone has changed since October 7, it is Netanyahu himself, noting a shift from a previous mindset shared by much of the leadership that opposed continuing the war or targeting Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

The remarks come after Netanyahu's interview sparked controversy when he was asked what had changed in him since October 7. Netanyahu responded jokingly that he had lost some weight, a reply that angered journalists, politicians, bereaved families, and left-wing activists who criticized him as arrogant, disconnected, and heartless. Magal's comments highlight ongoing tensions within Israeli political discourse regarding the government's handling of recent conflicts and leadership attitudes.
