DIY Sunbed Transforms Garden Into Private Boutique Hotel Oasis

An Israeli DIY enthusiast decided to build her own sunbed instead of buying one, creating a stylish and comfortable outdoor piece that resembles those found in luxury boutique hotels. Using simple materials like pine wood, basic tools, and creativity, she completed the project in about three hours at a cost of 330 shekels. The sunbed measures 63 cm wide, 60 cm high, and 190 cm long, made from two pine wood boards and 25 wooden beams.

The project began with sanding the wood, marking and cutting the boards with a vertical saw, and painting all parts with semi-opaque wood paint. Assembly involved attaching the beams to the boards with screws, ensuring even spacing using a template for drilling holes. The creator emphasized the joy of transforming raw materials into a unique piece with character, highlighting that such projects do not require professional carpentry skills.
