Two Children Injured by Motorcycle Near Shfaram, One in Moderate Condition

Two approximately nine-year-old children were hit by a motorcycle in the northern Israeli village of Bir al-Maksur on Tuesday evening. The incident was reported to Magen David Adom's Carmel district dispatch at 18:20. Paramedics arrived quickly and provided initial life-saving treatment at the scene.

One child sustained moderate injuries with significant trauma to his face and limbs, while the other child was lightly injured. After stabilizing their condition, both were transported by ambulance to Rambam Hospital in Haifa for further medical care. Police arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the accident, including how the motorcycle struck the young pedestrians.

The area around Bir al-Maksur has recently seen multiple traffic accidents involving two-wheelers and pedestrians. Authorities reiterated the importance of cautious driving within residential areas to prevent further incidents.
