Israeli Company and Two Executives Indicted for Illegal Defense Exports Worth 35 Million Shekels

The Economic Department of the Israeli Prosecution has filed an indictment at the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion against Ability Ltd. and two of its executives. They are charged with violating the restrictions under the Defense Export Control Law by marketing defense products without a license. According to the Ministry of Defense, the police, and the prosecution, the value of the smuggled defense equipment reached approximately 35 million shekels.

The defendants face charges of aggravated smuggling offenses. Additionally, one of the company executives is accused of tax offenses, while the company itself is charged with money laundering. The indictment highlights serious breaches of export control regulations intended to oversee and restrict the sale and transfer of defense-related materials.

The case is now proceeding through the judicial system, with the prosecution seeking to hold the company and its executives accountable for these violations, which carry significant legal consequences under Israeli law.
