Louizo Louizo, a former Hapoel Tel Aviv player, started the match but was substituted in the 68th minute. Following the game, Serbian media outlet Sportklub criticized Louizo's performance, stating he "played poorly" and "did not do anything significant for an hour." In contrast, Mohamed Abu Fani received praise for his promising display, with the outlet noting he "looked good and showed he can be an important player."

Louizo had also started in Red Star's first preseason match, a 2-1 victory over Amstetten. The team is scheduled to face Linz and Zenit St. Petersburg in upcoming friendlies as they build toward the Serbian league season opener on July 18, one day before the World Cup final. Red Star Belgrade aims to finalize its squad and form ahead of the competitive campaign.
