After 35 years, businessman Haim Katzman, the controlling shareholder in the income-producing real estate company that mainly operates abroad, G City, formerly Gazit Globe, wants to give up control of the company and is looking for a buyer. Katzman wants to reduce by at least half the stake of the holding company Norstar, the company’s controlling shareholder, which owns 54.3 percent and through which he controls G City, and has hired Discount Capital, the underwriting firm, for that purpose.
