Man With World's Smallest Penis Seeks Public Help to Fund Enlargement Surgery
Michael Phillips, a 38-year-old American who claims to have the world's smallest penis at approximately 0.97 cm (0.38 inches) when erect, has launched a public fundraising campaign to finance a medical procedure aimed at improving his quality of life. Phillips says his condition, medically diagnosed as micropenis, not only affects his romantic and sexual relationships but also basic functions like urination, often requiring him to use adult diapers. He started a GoFundMe campaign titled "Help Michael Undergo Micropenis Enlargement Surgery," which has already raised about $12,000, doubling his initial goal of $6,000 (roughly 18,000 shekels). The extra funds will cover the full medical costs, medications, travel, accommodation, living expenses, and lost income during recovery.
Phillips shared that his doctor recommended the surgery to increase girth through semi-permanent filler injections, which would help him urinate more comfortably. He described daily frustration and embarrassment, especially when traveling, which he enjoys but finds challenging due to his condition. Phillips revealed that the condition has severely impacted his self-confidence and independence, and he remains a virgin due to past humiliations, including a high school incident where a girl laughed at him. He only received an official diagnosis last year after years of thinking he was a late bloomer.
Despite gaining online attention and support for openly discussing a condition often treated as a joke, Phillips has also faced ridicule and skepticism. He admitted to previously sending unsolicited intimate photos during online disputes, for which he apologized. He emphasizes that while the surgery will not cure his condition, it will significantly improve his daily life and hopes the support will help him regain dignity and autonomy. Phillips appeals to those who understand the challenges of his condition to contribute to his campaign and help him take a major step toward a more normal and comfortable life.
