Lebanese Report Says Prisoner Exchange for Ron Arad's Remains Is Impossible

The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, affiliated with Hezbollah, reported that Israel currently holds 37 Lebanese prisoners. According to the report, 11 of these detainees are Hezbollah operatives, while the remaining 25 are civilians. Families of the prisoners have stated that linking the release of these detainees to the return of the remains of Israeli airman Ron Arad is an impossible condition. The report also claims that Lebanese authorities and Hezbollah are unaware of Ron Arad's fate.
