Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef Blames Torah Study Draft Decrees for Soldiers' Deaths at Bnei Brak Rally

Former Chief Rabbi and Shas Council of Torah Sages member Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef spoke at an anti-draft rally attended by hundreds in Bnei Brak. He asserted that soldiers' deaths occur as a result of harsh decrees imposed on Torah scholars, stating, "When soldiers are killed, it is because of the decrees made against Torah learners." Rabbi Yosef criticized the authorities for imposing restrictions instead of providing full financial support, saying, "Instead of giving them all the money and gold, they impose decrees." Shas Knesset members Yoav Ben-Tzur, Michael Malchieli, and Yonatan Mishraki also participated in the demonstration.
