Ponevezh Rosh Yeshiva Dances Vigorously at Grandchild's Wedding Celebration in Bnei Brak
A joyous Sheva Brachot celebration was held in Bnei Brak for the grandson of the Ponevezh Yeshiva rosh yeshiva, Rabbi Dov Landau. The groom, Yosef Shmuel, is a distinguished student of the Ponevezh Yeshiva and the grandson of Rabbi Isser Zalman Schwartzman, the rosh yeshiva's son-in-law, as well as the grandson of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Lipkovitz, a rabbi at the Beit Midrash Elyon Yeshiva, and son of Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Lipkovitz.
During the festivities, several musicians and singers entertained the rosh yeshiva and guests. Rabbi Israel Meir Shushan, a renowned maggid shiur, delivered an inspiring speech. A remarkable moment occurred when Rabbi Landau, despite his advanced age, rose to dance energetically with the musicians, encouraging the singing and music with great enthusiasm and strength.
