Arloi Children Celebrate Torah Study with Dramatic Flag Presentation Including Terror Groups
A grand and emotional ceremony was held in Jerusalem for first-grade students at the Arloi Hasidic Talmud Torah, marking their beginning of studying the Torah portion Vayikra. Among the celebrants was the great-grandson of the Arloi Rebbe, the grandson of his only son, Rabbi Shalom Tzvi Sofer. During the event, the children performed songs and scenes emphasizing the sanctity of Torah study and observance of commandments.
A particularly striking moment occurred when the children enacted a presentation showing that the Torah was not given to any nations or countries. They raised flags representing various countries, including the United States and England, alongside flags of Arab states and terrorist organizations, to illustrate that God gave the Torah exclusively to the people of Israel, who rejected it.
The Arloi Rebbe himself appeared at the event, inspiring the young students with a spiritual presence. His son, Rabbi Shalom Tzvi Sofer, delivered an emotional speech blessing the children to grow into wise and God-fearing scholars. The highlight came when the children received the Torah portion Vayikra directly from the Rebbe, who blessed them warmly.
The celebration concluded with lively dancing, as fathers joyfully carried the children on their shoulders for an extended hour of Torah joy.
