Waltz also noted that negotiations between Washington and Tehran are ongoing but stressed that military options remain on the table. He warned, "President Trump will always give diplomacy a chance, but his patience will not last forever," and cautioned that the administration will keep all options open to ensure Iran never acquires nuclear weapons. This statement follows remarks from the Israeli Chief of Staff about readiness for rapid combat resumption in Lebanon and Iran, highlighting regional tensions.
