Brad Pitt and Edward Norton Reunite at World Cup Match in California
Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, stars of the 1999 cult film "Fight Club," were spotted together in the stands during the recent World Cup match between the United States and Turkey held in California. The actors were seen engaged in conversation and focused on the game, with Pitt wearing the official U.S. team jersey, a white bucket hat, and glasses, while Norton sported a Radiohead band shirt. Fans quickly noted the reunion, with some humorously referencing the film's plot twist where Norton's character suffers from a mental disorder and Pitt's character is a figment of his imagination.
"Fight Club," directed by David Fincher and based on Chuck Palahniuk's 1996 novel, features Norton as an insomniac narrator who befriends charismatic soap maker Tyler Durden, played by Pitt. Together, they start an underground fight club that spirals out of control. The film also starred Helena Bonham Carter, Jared Leto, and Meat Loaf.
Despite the Hollywood star power in the stands, the U.S. team lost the match 3-2 to Turkey. However, the U.S. team advanced to the knockout stage and is set to face Bosnia on July 1.
