Maccabi Tel Aviv to Play EuroLeague Champions in Cyprus Preseason Event
Maccabi Tel Aviv will take part in a preseason tournament in Nicosia, Cyprus, from September 11 to 13 as it prepares for the 2026/27 season. The event was announced shortly after the 2025/26 season ended.
The yellow-and-blue, coached by Oded Kattash, are scheduled to face Olympiacos, the reigning EuroLeague champions, along with Red Star Belgrade and Aris Thessaloniki. The tournament is also notable because Aris is undergoing a major overhaul under Vassilis Spanoulis.
Ticket prices for the full tournament have already been set. Adult admission will cost 50 euros, a children's ticket will cost 35 euros, and a family package for two parents and two children under 18 will cost 135 euros.
The tournament offers Maccabi a chance to test itself against top European opposition before the new season begins.
