The Tel Aviv District Court rejected, for a second time, the prosecution’s request to impose restrictive conditions on senior adviser Yonatan Urich in the Bild and classified documents case, and to keep him away from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. As a result, Urich will be able to continue working with Netanyahu.
During the hearing, Judge Ala’a Masarwa criticized the prosecution’s position. He said, “During the most important security period he was there with the prime minister. So now to come and say that these conditions should be imposed on him?! There is a difficulty with that.”
The prosecution had sought to bar Urich from the prime minister’s office and prevent him from having contact with Netanyahu. The court again denied that request, leaving the existing arrangement in place.
