The Israel-Greece and Israel-Cyprus chambers of commerce held a trilateral meeting yesterday at the Brown Bobo Hotel in Tel Aviv, drawing more than 170 business leaders, diplomats and senior officials from the three countries. The gathering focused on opportunities in the eastern Mediterranean, especially in energy, infrastructure, cyber and trade.
During the event, Gilad Shadmon, director general of Israel's Ministry for Regional Cooperation, signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with the cyber and digital government authorities in Greece and Cyprus. The chambers said the meeting reflected the growing importance of regional cooperation in the eastern Mediterranean and the broad potential of linking the business, governmental and civil sectors in Israel, Greece and Cyprus.
